VES-Artex Welcomes Garrett Bray as Mechanical Design Engineer

VES-Artex is pleased to announce the addition of Garrett Bray as a Mechanical Design Engineer, further enhancing the company’s commitment to practical innovation, product development, and customer-focused solutions in the agricultural industry.

Bray joins VES-Artex with a strong foundation in mechanical and manufacturing engineering, bringing both technical expertise and hands-on experience to the team. A graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in mechanical engineering, Bray began his career with an internship at Jack Link’s before transitioning into a full-time role, focused on project engineering and manufacturing processes. Following graduation, Bray spent nearly five years at Curt Manufacturing. In that role, he specialized in process optimization, fabrication workflows, and developing practical solutions to improve efficiency and product quality.

At VES-Artex, Bray’s role is centered on advancing product development and supporting ongoing engineering initiatives. His work includes designing and refining ventilation equipment, contributing to new product concepts, and collaborating with the team to enhance usability, manufacturability, and field performance.

What drew Bray to VES-Artex was the opportunity to work within a collaborative, growing team while making a tangible impact.

“It feels like getting in on the ground level of something with a lot of opportunity,” said Bray. “There’s a strong pipeline of meaningful projects, and it’s exciting to be part of a team where you can contribute right away and help shape what comes next.”

Bray has already gained field experience during his first weeks with the company, working alongside team members on-site to support product testing and implementation. This hands-on involvement reflects VES-Artex’s commitment to real-world validation and continuous improvement of its solutions.

Beyond technical capabilities, Bray values a team-oriented culture—something he has found at VES-Artex.

“It feels more like a family than a corporation,” Bray said. “You’re working together to solve problems, not just functioning as a small piece of a large machine. That kind of environment really aligns with how I like to work.”

With deep roots connected to agriculture through family and upbringing, Bray also brings a personal appreciation for the industry VES-Artex serves. He looks forward to continuing to learn from producers and contribute to solutions that directly support farmers and their operations.

“Farmers are the backbone of the country,” Bray said. “Being able to design and improve products that make their operations more efficient and effective is something I’m really looking forward to.”

As VES-Artex continues to expand its product offerings and invest in innovation, Bray’s addition reinforces the company’s focus on building a solutions-driven team positioned to meet the evolving needs of the agricultural industry.
