Product Overview

Louvered Circulation fans are the nucleus of VES-Artex’s ventilation strategy. Powerful, dependable motors generate impressive air speed which is directed to the cows by the louvers. Positioning the fresh air right at the cow level helps mitigate heat stress while encouraging lying time, milk production, pregnancy rates, and overall cow health.

Also referred to as ECV and Storm fans, each louvered circulation fan is constructed with corrosion-resistant fiberglass housing, either aluminum or reinforced polypropylene balanced blades, and robust hardware. All are available with UL Listed and CE certified 50 or 60 HZ motors. Fans with belt drive motors are available in sizes 55” and 72”. Fans with direct drive motors are available in sizes 36”, 55’, and 72”. All direct drive motors are enclosed with sealed bearings.

  • – Control fans with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) which include noise filters, multiple voltage applications, Nema 4 enclosures with optional built in or manual disconnects, wireless and sensors.

    – Safety guards are an optional accessory

    – Connect temperature sensors to control fan speed with VFDs

    – Add High Pressure Fogging kits to increase cow cooling

    – Collaborate with VES-Artex’s team of design and layout engineers, project support engineers, research engineers, and veterinarians to create a customized ventilation system
