VES-Artex is excited to welcome Desiree Diaz as our new E-Commerce and Business Development Specialist. Bringing a strong background in e-commerce operations, customer experience, and business process optimization, Desiree is helping expand VES-Artex’s digital presence while creating more opportunities for customers to discover and interact with our products online.

Unlike many team members in the agricultural industry, Desiree’s journey to VES-Artex began outside of dairy and agriculture. Desiree explains. “As I started learning about the company, I saw an opportunity where my background in e-commerce and operations could really make an impact. There was already a strong presence online, but I saw opportunities to help increase visibility and connect with even more potential customers.”

Desiree’s professional career has been rooted in customer service and e-commerce, where she built and managed customer-facing teams while supporting a wide variety of consumer product categories. Over time, her responsibilities expanded beyond customer service into fulfillment operations, order management, analytics, and business strategy.

“I’ve always wanted to keep learning and growing,” she says. “As my career evolved, I became more interested in understanding the entire customer journey, from how products are presented online to fulfillment, data analysis, and ultimately creating a better overall customer experience.”

Today, Desiree’s role focuses on strengthening VES-Artex’s digital marketplace presence and identifying opportunities to expand brand awareness across multiple sales channels. From optimizing online product listings and improving customer-facing content to exploring new marketplace opportunities, she is helping ensure customers can easily find the products they need while gaining greater awareness of the VES-Artex brand.

One of the unique advantages Desiree brings is her perspective as someone new to the agricultural industry.

“Coming from outside of agriculture has actually been helpful,” she explains. “When I look at our ventilation products, I see applications beyond agriculture as well. Many of these products can be used in warehouses, workshops and other environments. Looking at things through a different lens helps identify opportunities to reach customers who may not otherwise know about VES-Artex.”

Like many newcomers to the dairy industry, Desiree admits there has been a learning curve.

“There are definitely a lot of new terms and industry knowledge to learn,” she laughs. “I’ve spent plenty of time reading through catalogs, researching products, and asking questions. But every day I learn something new, and that’s one of the things that excites me most about being here.”

Since joining the company, one aspect of VES-Artex that has stood out most has been the collaborative culture and willingness of team members to help one another succeed.

“Everyone has been incredibly supportive,” Desiree says. “If someone doesn’t have the answer, they’ll point you to the person who does. People genuinely want to help. You can tell everyone is invested in the company’s success, and that’s something special.”

She has also been impressed by the depth of expertise throughout the organization.

“There is so much knowledge inside this company,” she says. “No matter what area you’re looking at, there are people who are truly experts in their craft. It’s exciting to work alongside people who are passionate about what they do.”

Looking ahead, Desiree is eager to see the impact of her work and continue exploring additional opportunities to expand VES-Artex’s digital footprint.

“I’m excited to see the results of the changes we’re making today,” she says. “As we continue building our online presence, there are opportunities to expand into new marketplaces, reach new customers, and continue increasing awareness of the VES-Artex brand.”

Outside of work, Desiree enjoys spending time with family and friends and pursuing a variety of creative hobbies. A self-described creative spirit, she enjoys wire art, embroidery, crocheting, and other hands-on projects that allow her to learn new skills and challenge herself. She is also the proud owner of two Chiweenies, Peanut and Gizmo, who keep life entertaining. Born and raised in Illinois, Desiree appreciates the diversity, culture, and endless activities available throughout the Chicagoland area.

Desiree’s passion for continuous learning, customer experience, and business growth makes her a valuable addition to the VES-Artex team. As we continue expanding our digital presence and creating new ways to connect with customers, we’re excited for the impact she will make.
